Jennifer Villa is working as a Venture Fellow at XSeed Capital while completing her final year of Stanford’s joint master’s program in business (MBA) and computer science (MSCS). She spent summer 2018 interning in product management at Determined AI, a seed-stage startup building software to streamline deep learning model development. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a CPU performance engineer at Intel, helping the company design the next generation of its Atom chipset.

She has been involved with robotics since high school and served as president of Duke’s robotics club in her senior year. She has competed in numerous national combat robotics competitions and appeared on ABC’s TV show, Battlebots, with her team, Witch Doctor. Her other hobbies include golf, reading (largely sci-fi novels), and cooking.  

Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a dual major in electrical and biomedical engineering. She hails from Miami, FL, and loves returning home to long days at the beach and great Cuban food.
