Rostislav Shorgin is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at XSeed Capital and a strategic advisor to several early-stage companies, with expertise in marketing and growth of consumer Internet products. His current professional focus lies in the fields of personal identity verification and blockchain technology.

Prior to joining XSeed, Rostislav spent several months at Airtable, where he helped systemize user acquisition efforts and kick-started performance marketing. He also spent six years at Yandex – one of the largest internet companies in Europe, operating Russia’s most popular search engine. During this time, Rostislav shaped product marketing in the company and built and managed a team responsible for Search Business Unit marketing.

Rostislav holds an MS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University and an MBA from Stanford University.
