Spence Green is currently CEO at Lilt Inc., which provides interactive and adaptive machine-assisted learning tools. He was an XSeed Fellow from 2013-2015.

Prior to joining XSeed, Spence was a project manager and engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation. He worked on various large projects including a national air defense system and avionics packages for naval aircraft. Spence also spent a summer at Google working on Google Translate.

Spence holds a BS from the University of Virginia, and an MS in Computer Science and a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University. He speaks Arabic fluently and is interested in companies that target Middle East markets.
